You can also perform advanced HART programming from the front, and as a result, significantly reduce the need for handheld communicators (HHC). The easy-to-read 60 mm high definition display provides a clear indication of your process magnitude, supported by a radial bar graph in real time.

PR 7501 Field mounted HART temperature transmitter  

Field temperature transmitter 7501 has just been released by PR Electronics of Denmark. As with most of their products the 7501 has a 5 year warranty, and a very wide range of approvals including IECEx Ex d for Zone 0. Some exclusive features include optical button interface with operation without opening the case – even with gloves – and dual colour backlight on the display. The display has a wide range of information available including tag No and digital and graphical process values. Other screens include set up and diagnostics for full flexibility.
  • Accuracy better than 0.05% of range  with damping 1-60 sec
  • Thermocouple, RTD, Bi-polar mV and resistance inputs – 24 types
  • Voltage drop 9.5VDC +2V if backlight selected
  • HART 5 and HART 7 compatible  with configuration via HART and push buttons
  • SS or coated low copper aluminium enclosure (note SS  series released soon)
  • Text support messages for configuration and diagnostics
