Air Quality Meters

Air quality is important for productivity, safety and achieving optimum settings on ventilation and fresh air entry in HVAC control systems. The Lutron LU-AQ9901SD is an economical solution for determining base conditions and the effects of changes in control settings. Accuracy is sufficient for this purpose and the kit is supplied with sensors and carry case – just add an SD card up to 16 GB capacity. Data is transferred to a PC on the SD card and can be analysed directly using a standard spread sheet program. The air quality meter is one of the new family of environmental instruments using SD card logging including LUX, sound level, heat stress index, 3 phase power and atmospheric pressure.

Multichannel thermometer

The new Lutron 4 channel thermometer is absolute value for money. It features universal input type thermocouple and RTD with good accuracy and features such as MAX/MIN/HOLD. In addition it has SD card logging with real time clock for logging at intervals from 1 sec to 3600 sec or on demand 1 to 99 records. Display is simultaneous including T1-T2 on a back lit LCD. Inputs can be calibrated with offset values on each channel. Data can be read directly from the SD card and analysed uning a spread sheet, or use the optional Lutron software and USB cable

Environment meter

SP-8000 and SP-9000 series are new mini weather stations with pocket sized economical multi function meters for environmental and weather measurements. Gefran Melt Pressure transducer, fluid free (I)

Extrusion pressure

The Gefran IMPACT is a totally new concept in extrusion pressure measurement where the pressure sensing element is mounted in the sensor tip and no fill fluid or push rod systems are needed. The system is very sensitive and allows the use of diaphragm thicknesses from 10 to 15 times greater than normal extrusion sensors and so the life in harsh conditions is extended enormously.

The new “autozero” function which is optional on all Gefran melt sensors, can be locally triggered with a magnet, or by remote signal. This premium product has been developed to satisfy difficult applications, and those where fill fluid cannot be used.

pH meter

Lutron pH222 is one of a new series of pocket testers from Lutron, and it is a culmination of many years of experience in pH instrumentation. It uses standard AA batteries, and has built in data logger for up to 100 readings. Calibration is automated in standard buffer solutions at 4, 7 and 10 or other values. Temperature measurement is included on the multiple display and the reading is used for automatic temperature compensation.
